Visitors to the 1997 Frankfurt Motor Show experienced the American spirit of Chevrolet and Cadillac at close quarters on a reproduction of 5th Avenue.

Against the skyline of the Big Apple and between steaming drain covers, live performances transported scenes of everyday New York life to Frankfurt. Also included was a genuine New York Yellow Cab, accompanied by a taxi driver and an eccentric shopping queen in conversation. The lighting dramaturgy created a rhythmic interchange between night and day. The highlight of the night scene is formed by the show on the Rockefeller Center ice rink under the golden Prometheus figure. Visitors could experience the “American Way of Life” and with it the Chevrolet and Cadillac brands at close quarters.
