| 1981 | Bellprat Associates was founded in Vancouver, Canada by Xavier Bellprat, a graduate in architecture from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich. Among his achievements as an architect and urban designer, he had overall responsibility for the Swiss pavilion at the 1986 World Fair in Vancouver. |
| 1989 | Xavier Bellprat was appointed to Technorama, the Swiss science centre in Winterthur as representative for special exhibitions where he will subsequently take up a position as museum director for one year on an interim basis and become a member of the management board for five years. |
